Born in Maine, reared in Texas, and after seven years I have been able to just start to call Los Angeles "home". Although I have always been interested in doing hair, I started my adulthood as a Montessori teacher. Since education is vital for success and inspiration of any person, I am committed to continue my education in both my professional and personal life. After all, "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world" ~Nelson Mandela. I started coloring and cutting my friends' hair back in high school as a hobby. Every time I would show them the final result, I was inspired by their reaction. Seeing their confidence bloom and getting the feeling of empowerment made me want to uplift other people in this creative way. In my spare time, work on my car, foster dogs/ volunteer at Animal Acres and local animal shelters, and eat (I love food).
